Hello, my name is Esha Iftikhar and I am an incoming senior at Metropolitan Expeditionary Learning School. I am interested in studying medicine and creative writing in college. Taking HMNS 101 in this Spring of 2021 was the first time I was able to connect both my love for science and writing. I hope to continue to learn more about science research this summer through participation in HMNS 102. Within the STEM disciplines, I am specifically interested in social/biological sciences, such as mental health, biochemistry, and the immune system. In this internship, I also hope to learn about scientific methods of research and experimentation.
